More On Lily's Subjects:

  • music theory

I have been studying music theory since I was 6 years old. Many of the musical competitions I have participated in over the years required that I pass music theory examinations. I have won state honors on these tests for scoring in the top percent. I've also taken AP Music Theory in high school as well as 2 years of in-depth courses from TCU.

  • piano

I started playing the piano when I was 6, studying with many world renowned professors and musicians. Over the course of 12 years, I have won 1st place in state competitions 4 times, and placed as an alternate 5 times. I have also competed in and won various other district and regional competitions. While in high school and in college, I often taught other students how to play this instrument, as well as accompanied them in performances.
