More On Anna's Subjects

  • GED

I have tutored friends in the past for the GED and did so successfully. I am going to get a book on the GED to make sure that I am prepared for tutoring but I know that I will make a great tutor for the GED. I am familiar with all the subjects on the GED and excel at all of them. Also, I am good at teaching these subjects to students and making the learning experience as enjoyable as possible.

  • grammar

As a law student, I love words, vocabulary, and speech. I also enjoy writing. If you are interested in diction, speech, and eliminating accents I can be of great assistance to you. Having excellent grammar is important for standardized testtakers, writers, english students, and anyone who wants to be able to articulate points clearly.

  • GRE

Since I took the LSAT and did well, I know alot about the GRE first hand. I am very interested in helping someone get into graduate school. Although the GRE is similar to the LSAT there is math on it as well. I think I would be better tutoring in the "English" section instead of the math section. I excel at analytical reasoning and vocabulary.

  • law

I am a law student in my second year and have taken all the basic courses in addition to some electives. I can teach you how to study for exams, how to approach homework, and how to outline efficiently. Additionally, we can review issues that may be confusing to you personally or that you need further refinement in.

  • LSAT

I am currently a law student in Boston and studied for the LSAT for 2 years having had to take it 3 times. The first time I cancelled my score because I was too anxious to complete the test. The second time I scored decently but not well enough to go to a school that I would want to go to. The third time I scored quite well. Through my time studying for the exam I learned strategies and techniques that are important for succeeding on this exam. I can teach a student how to greatly improve their score (as I did) and not have to take the LSAT more than once.

  • special needs

Since I am a special needs student with ADHD, I can easily relate to any special needs a tutoring student may have. Also, I am very patient and enjoy working with students who have learning disabilities but the capacity and desire to learn. I am very patient, kind, and enjoy tutoring challenging and challenged students. I know that I can reap good results with most special needs students.
