About Maya:

I am currently taking a year off before attending NYU Law School. I recently graduated from Pomona College in Claremont, CA with a B.A. in Politics. I have a wide variety of tutoring experience. I have worked with several students at the elementary and middle school level. I have also worked with high school students teaching ESL, English, Math, Biology and SAT courses. My students enjoy our sessions because I am enthusiastic, energetic and focused! Building study skills and self-esteem is important for any young student to excel in his or her schoolwork and I take pride in working hard to tailor a study plan that will build self-confidence for all of my students.
