Do you need tutoring in ESL, Spanish, Reading or Writing? Look no further! I am a recent graduate of Emory University who is available to tutor throughout metro Atlanta. I love working in an educational setting with people of all ages, and have experience in a variety of disciplines.
ESL:
I have volunteered in an ESL classroom all throughout college, and led my own course last summer.
Spanish:
I have studied Spanish since high school and graduated from college with a Spanish minor. I spent a summer studying in Spain, and most recently spent five months traveling and studying in Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, and Mexico.
English/Reading/Writing:
I have strong SAT scores as well as AP English scores from high school. I am an avid reader, and I have also done a lot of writing of all types - including creative writing, journalism, and thesis writing.
I have experience working with elementary, middle and high school students, as well as with adults. |

I have worked as a tutor in an local elementary school, tutoring students one-on-one in all subjects. I enjoy working with elementary students of all ages, and all basic subjects (Language Arts, Science, Math, Social Studies) as well as Spanish.

ESL/ESOL
|
I have always been interested in ESL, especially as the child of an immigrant. I started volunteering in an ESL class in Atlanta when I started at Emory, and really fell in love with it; I continued volunteering there throughout my time in college. Last summer, I taught my own ESL course at an non-profit organization in Massachusetts. It was the first time they had offered ESL, so I was able to structure the class on my own and teach it as I wished. The class was definitely a success, and the organization has continued to use the same framework I designed. I like to be creative with the language and incorporate cultural aspects into the learning process.
