Hello potential student,
Currently I am a graduate student studying for his Ph.D. in Molecular Oncology and Immunology at New York University. I believe that I am fully capable of tutoring middle and high school students in Biology, Chemistry, Algebra I & II, and Geometry. During my undergraduate years, i have tutored high school and college students in these areas.
Although no student is the same, I like to use a scaffolding approach to tutor students. This method involves a complete review of the problem area(s), reteaching the problem area through modeling, and using these models to move into more advanced topics within the problem area.
