Hello parents and students! Here are the not-so-interesting part: BA Development Studies (cum laude); MBA (3.70 GPA); held corporate executive positions; taught in MBA program; own/manage management consulting services.
And now the so-so segment: a student leader; founding chair of various organizations and a scholarship foundation; a stage actor in school; did professional stage acting (mostly comedy); competitive in badminton; plays bowling and volleyball; love the outdoor/nature; have been teaching/tutoring since high-school.
Most important of all: I believe learning happens when it is fun, hence, I see to it that there is an element of fun in academics. I operate based on the following philosophy: Learning must be goal-directed, should connect to the real world, towards helping the self, then others, and believing in the self. I also go for a holistic approach to learning using heart, mind and body.
I miss my student days! So the next best thing is to be like in school once again by being with the students - as a teacher-friend.
By the way, talk about hands-on, I have a teenager son who I raised by myself.
Let me know how I can be of help.
