About LISETTE:

Born in French Canada, I understand the struggles with learning a second language. I also value the benefits of being bilingual and the values of other cultures. It makes learning other languages easier. I lived in Canada, Europe, United States and traveled around the world, at times teaching French or English to small groups, classes or one to one interaction (mostly conversation). I thought at Menlo High School in Menlo Park for 5 years, preparing students for the advanced EP classes as well as teaching a first year class putting emphasis on communication in the language with interesting and fun methods (movies- outings - role play). I was head of the Language Depart. for a few years putting an input in active learning methods. I am a dynamic retiree and wish to complement my days with on going tutoring in French or helping foreigners with the basics of English language.
