I am a Sophomore at San Diego State University, and I am majoring in Journalism. I attended Paraclete High School, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude. In high school, I participated in Journalism, Mock Trial, Asian Pacific Islander Club, Choir, and Associated Student Body. In Journalism, I was Campus Life Editor of our school newspaper. I played defendant in Mock Trial two years in a row, and competed in the Los Angeles High School Mock Trial Competition. As a senior, I balanced my activities while taking charge as president of the Asian Pacific Islander Club. I was part of the National Honor Roll, National Honor Society, California Scholarship Federation, and National English Honor Society and was recognized for my excellence as a Beginning Journalism student. I am very skilled in writing, and Pre- algebra, Algebra I, as well as teaching elementary basics. I believe in teaching students in a way that best suits their needs and interests.
