I am a creative, energetic person with a genuine love of teaching, and I know how to make learning fun! One of my strongest points as a teacher is the ability to assess a student's needs and then tailor a course of study and method of teaching that brings out the very best in each and every student. I have a masters degree in music, and additional interest and expertise in visual arts, literature and languages. My many years of teaching have included classroom and one-on-one instruction with students of all ages - from elementary to college levels. Because I have taught in several regions of the US, in the Caribbean and Mexico, I bring to my classroom experiences and a sensitivity to cultural diversity that others may not possess. Currently, I teach at the Harlem School of the Arts and have availability for tutoring most days.
