As someone who has put myself through 3 educational programs (BA, MA, PhD) I know the value of getting a good education. I want to instill that feeling to the students that I work with. While learning is the main point, learning in an environment that makes one excited about the process is also important. I want to be able to see the light come on in a kid's eyes when s/he gets the concept we've been working on. I want them to know that what they're doing is important and will help them in their future lives.
