My name is Steve and I'm an Undergraduate Communications Major at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. I speak Spanish fluently as well as write and read it at a fluent level. I was immersed in the language living in Latin America; speaking the language, when overseas, is the best way to learn, because one not only learns to speak & write but also learns context. Language is a hobby of mine and I have found that learning is simple if one learns the basic concepts that govern the mechanics because once that is understood the rest is simple. I have tutored at an amateur level by myself as a freshmen in college as well as having worked as a tutor in high school. I am proficient in both High School and College level Spanish speaking, writing and listening; I was awarded 16 College Credits in Spanish because I scored a 70 on a CLEP test, which is 2 points shy of a perfect score, before my Freshman year of college. I do not wish to give the impression of arrogance in my abilities; I only wish to convey confidence and provide a background of my experience with the language. I am also a baseball fanatic and have played my whole life up until recently. I know more than most in terms of statistics, history, current affairs and technique's; such as, pitching, hitting, baserunning, fielding, coaching, strategy and mechanics. I'm a baseball nerd and would like to help anyone improve in any aspect of their game and knowledge.
