About Quentori:

I love working with and helping others. I have an undergraduate degree in Child and Family Development. I am currently attending graduate school for a master's degree in Early Childhood Education. My academic strengths are in math, science, and grammar. I have lots of patience and will go the length it takes to help others reach their goals and full potential. I am currently a 3rd grade teacher at Winterville Elem. in Athens, Ga. I have taught 2 years of Special Education of various subjects in grades 3rd-5th. I know how to break difficult information down into chunks that will help students understand the information better. I can make modifications where needed and accommodate when needed. I provide supplement materials to help students gather concrete concepts of information being taught. I am familiar with Georgia's new curriculum standards (GPS standards) as well as old standards (QCC standards). With the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB), many schools have undergone vast changes. This affects the learning that takes place in the classroom. Knowing this knowledge first hand and having experience with the Georgia state testing (CRCT), I can assist those children having difficulty meeting standards on state tests.
