About

I am a rising senior at Emmanuel College in Boston, MA where I am a Dean's Scholar and have made the Dean's List every semester, majoring in Neuropsychology and minoring in Music Performance. I am involved in many extra-curricular activities including a community service club, the Admissions Ambassador Program, many honor societies, as well as the chapel choir and the Boston College Marching Band where I play flute and piccolo, respectfully.
I currently tutor psychology at Emmanuel's Academic Resource Center, but I have taken and excelled in many other courses at the Undergraduate level, including statistics, writing, chemistry, anatomy, several music classes, as well as many others. I am a very good writer, so I can edit papers for grammar and content, as well as work through outlining topics and organizing thoughts.
As far as music goes, I have been playing flute for over 12 years and piccolo for about six years. I took private lessons until high school for both flute and alto saxophone and played flute and piccolo in the elementary, middle and high school bands, as well as the Greater Nashua Youth Symphony Orchestra and choir at my church. As mentioned above, I play in the Boston College Marching Band and Symphonic Band while at school, as well as in the orchestra for the musical productions at Emmanuel. I have also taken some piano lessons so I am able to work with beginner pianists.
I am a very good student at school and have made my way very successfully through school by utilizing strong study skills and time management with all my extra-curricular activities. I hope I can help you succeed in any of the above mentioned subjects and I look forward to meeting you soon! |
