I am a recent UCLA graduate wherein I majored in International Development Studies. I continue to work and reside in the UCLA area. Tutoring my much younger siblings growing up gave me a foundation to teach and aid students to reach success in academics. I have recent experience tutoring children between grades 1-8 in both Math and Language Arts in the last year. One of the students which I tutored had a learning disability and a speech disorder. My ability to be both patient and enthusiastic in student learning has enabled me to effectively work with parents and students in order to ensure the child's success.

  I minored in Modern Standard Arabic at UCLA and can read and write. I can speak colloquial Arabic of the Levant and have taken an Iraqi dialect course at UCLA as well.
