About Kevin:

My education at Michigan State University in the Honors College gave me a strong foundation in both English and mathematics. At the University of Michigan, my coursework accompanied with a full year of teaching field experience assisted me in sharpening my teaching practice. Furthermore, I offer two years experience in teaching at Michigan State University and one summer at Phillips Academy, which I seek to effectively leverage for my students. Moreover, I have invested much time into understanding the value of instructional technology in the classroom. I have incorporated blogs, wikis, podcasts, and other Web 2.0 tools into my own classroom, and I have recently presented a paper at the Harvard Graduate School of Education in Cambridge, MA, explaining the connection between Web 2.0 and its direct effect on enriching literacy.
