My teaching and tutoring philosophy is quite simple. After training many individuals at the corporate level, mentoring teenagers, immersing myself in passionate school-related activities with children, tutoring both children and college students, and working as a mediator, I have learned that the combination of a solid knowledge base, life experience, passion for teaching, combined with active listening skills and the desire to facilitate lively discussion, constitutes my philosophy of the most efficient way know by myself to create an optimum learning environment for others. My experiences, passion, and life-long goal as child psychologist and owner/director of a center for teaching children the necessary skills for survival in a global, competitive environment has given me the necessary tools to become a successful pioneer in child education. Also, my experience as an online adjunct faculty member and the positive feedback I have received from students regarding my allegedly unique style as an instructor who invests the necessary time to respond promptly to student concerns, making subject matter interesting and real-world relevant, and galvanizing students with a life-long commitment to critical thinking, creativity, and learning, has confirmed my status as a successful instructor. |
