About

I have been tutoring since my ninth grade in high school. I have always had a 4.0 GPA, and I knew what it took to keep it. Even when I am not tutoring, several other students come by with questions for me about the class they are in. I get several "thank-you's" from their teachers later.
I enjoy helping other reach an understanding that they didn't have already. I like to mix and match several styles of learning in order to figure out which style matches a particular student. Several people learn in many different ways, and I take it as a challenge to find which way fits best.
I have just graduated high school and have been accepted to my top choice school with several academic scholarships. I am young, but sometimes that is the best way to get through to students. Students understand each other better. I have spent the last 5-6 months tutoring in Chemisty mostly. The girl I tutored was in my graduating class and maintained a 4.0 GPA because of my tutelege. I also tutored American History for a while in between Chemistry. I also worked as a lab assistant the last two semesters and have experience there. |

physical science

Physical Science was one of my favorite classes in high school. I had a teacher who taught very well, and he had me tutor some of my classmates who weren't doing as well. I enjoyed learning the subject and teaching it too. We had this thing called the "95 Club", which was my teacher's idea of helping us along to high "A's". He would take us to an expensive restaurant and pay for us to eat every semester if we kept a 95 or higher in his class. I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of that.
Physical Science is like an introduction to the other sciences covered in high school. It covers biology, chemistry, and physics. I maintained an A in each of my high school science classes and was in the top of my classes; therefore, I think I am qualified to tutor in Physical Science.
