softball Well, to start things off, I have been playing competitive softball for the last five years. I played with the Quicksilver Organization from 2003-2007. I just recently joined the AquaSox organization this year. My primary postion for my competitive team is outfield. I spend almost very weekend playing in a tournament. I've spent the last five years with the same coach, so I have picked up some tips. During the summer, I play a Park 'n' Rec team with my school to help improve on the little atributes of the game, and also to help the younger girls improve. The team consists of grades 7-12. It requires a lot of patients work with some of the younder girls. During the fall, I play for my school team, with the same coaches as the Park 'n' Rec team. I also play first base during school season. I feel that I know the game very well having played it competitively for five years and almost year round. I think that "tutoring" in softball would be fun and exciting. My coaches always like to say "You know, you know the game, when you can teach it." All in all, I feel qualified for the postion, and think it would be a great opportunity.
