About Richard:

Having been born and raised in France and having completed my secondary education in Belgium and in French-speaking Africa, I have maintained excellent conversational French and return to France at least twice a year. I received my masters’ degree from The American University, School of Public Affairs, Washington, DC and bachelors’ degree in Political Sciences/International Studies from Washington College in Maryland. I taught a French conversational course at our Community College with a focus on maintstreaming the students as quickly as possible into French culture since many of the students where preparing for their vacation or had a business trip planned. The students greatly enjoyed my relaxed teaching style and the confidence I gave them.
