I have been tutoring students of all ages for the past two years in the areas of reading, language arts, mathematics (algebra, middle-school mathematics, elementary-level mathematics, calculus), and different sciences. I am currently a high-school science teacher at a private school in which I was also tasked to teach a middle-school level science. As an undergraduate student at Spelman College, I tutored in the math laboratory for two years, tutoring other undergraduates in different college level math classes. I enjoy working with students, and I find great pleasure upon seeing a smile on a child's face who has conquered a skill that he/she has had trouble with in the past. I seek to first assess the student, and then plan a course of action based upon that student's strengths and/or weaknesses in the subject that he/she is seeking assistance in.
