About Deborah:

My original teaching certification was earned in Georgia in 1979. I taught high school English and Algebra I in public school & at a private school for students with dyslexia. I went into corporate technical training for the next 17 years before coming back to public school teaching and re-earning my current teaching certification in Seconday English. I have taught at-risk students for the past 2 years. Motivating students is my specialty. My teaching style is flexible depending on an initial evaluation of the student. Not all students learn the same or have the same needs. I also enjoy teaching students how to study & how to successfully maneuver through the school system.
