About Jereka:

I've lived in Austin for 5 years. I received my Bachelors Degree in Dec of 2004 in Applied Arts and Sciences from Texas State University-San Marcos. My concentration was in the Area of Technical and Vocational Education. I plan of becoming a Surgical Technology Instructor and Austin Community College after finishing my Masters. In the fall I will be returning to Texas State for my Masters in Technical and Vocational Education. I have an Associates Degree in Humanities and entering my last semester of my Associates Degree in Surgical Technology. I have worked in the Health Care Field for Nine years and well versed in the Science of the Human Body. Second to my love of Medicine is my love of Literature and History, hence my Associates in Humanities. I am an excellent writer and would be a great asset to anyone who is struggling in the areas of Writing and Reading as well as the Sciences. I am the daughter of a retired teacher of 35 years. I taught Sunday School and did private tutoring at my church in Baytown, Texas until I moved to Austin in 2002. I like the one on one aspect of Private Tutoring because it gives me the opportunity to specialize a teaching method that best benefits the students particular learning style, and that can make all the different in whether the students grasps the material of not! I am also very patient and will do the very best I can to help the student master their problems area no matter how long it takes! Teaching and learning are as ingrained in me as the very hairs on my head. It is the true nature of who I am!
