About Regina:

I am a college level writing instructor. I have taught Freshman Composition, Introduction to Creative Writing (fiction and poetry), and Developmental College Writing courses. I have a Bachelor Degree in English(Creative Writing) and Spanish. I also have a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Creative Writing (Poetry). I have had poems published in well known literary magazines such as Mid-American Review and Gulf Coast. I have been teaching for nearly six years, and I have been an online writing tutor for over two years. I enjoy working with students one-on-one, and love to see an individual student making progress toward his or her goals.

I have studied writing on the college and graduate level. I hold a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing. A large part of my traning for this degree consisted of careful reading and anaylsis of pieces of writing by other authors. I have taught grammar courses and basic writing courses as well. A great deal of the work that I do as a teacher and tutor includes a close reading and careful attention to errors in grammar and style.
