I am currently a graduate student at New York
University Sackler Institute for Biomedical Sciences, pursuing a Ph.D. in Neuroscience. I did my undergraduate studies at Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and graduated Magna Cum Laude with Honors in Biology.
In addition to studying Biology as an undergraduate, I also gained experience in tutoring. I worked at the college's Writing Center for three years, where I assisted fellow students throughout the writing process, from initial planning stages through final grammatical editing. I also worked as a tutor in the Biology department, and as a lab assistant for the General Chemistry course.
However, I'm not all brains. I have collegiate experience as a track and field heptathlete. I served as captain of my championship college team, the Greyhounds, and can offer private coaching for track events ranging from 50-800 meters, including hurdles, high and long jumps, and shot put and javelin.
I have experienced that everyone learns at their own, individual pace. Because of this, I am willing and ready to work with students, patiently working at a comfortable pace, to ensure that they won't just know information to pass a test, but rather, have a true understanding.
