About Michelle:

My father is Cuban, so his influence gave me the background I needed. Like many other Americans I took the usual Spanish courses in high school. When I continued on in college I decided to major in the language I love. During my time there I had the opportunity to spend some time in Puerto Rico among native speakers. I enjoy the language and hope to pass that enjoyment onto others. I have studied the Bible daily for over ten years and feel qualified to tutor someone in this area.

Bible studies

I have been reading and studying the Bible daily for over ten years. I have read through the entire Bible over five times and have many verses memorized. I know how to use study tools to search things out in the Bible. I have attended numerous Bible studies. The most recent one is called Community Bible Study. This study began in September 2007 and finished in May of 2008. Every week we were given a certain portion of Scripture to study with daily questions to answer. On Wednesdays we met together and discussed those questions, then were lectured on the same passage. I also attend church regularly, which has conservative Christian teaching. I have listened to countless messages by many preachers and read an array of books on Biblical studies. I also happen to know the Author of the Bible quite well :) I feel very qualified for the task.
