I am looking for summer employment tutoring elementary, middle, or high school age students. I graduated Cum Laude from The Harpeth Hall School in Nashville, TN and have just completed my first year at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Last Summer I volunteered as a reading buddy at St. Luke's Community House, and I also have experience tutoring 3rd graders at Scales Elementary and assisting a Spanish Teacher at an elementary school in Chapel Hill this past spring. I am most qualified to help students with reading, writing, early-level Spanish, and mathematics. I plan to major in Journalism and Psychology and minor in Spanish, but I would like to continue to study math as well. Having been a camp counselor and a babysitter, I have plenty of experience working with kids and feel that I would be an effective one-on-one tutor.
