About Dana:

My name is Dana, I've lived in Michigan all my life until last year when I decided to move to China. Living in China was just an adventure that I wanted to have. I spent ten months living and working at a small school in eastern China where I taught children ages 5-7 in the English language. I had a great time! I'll be back soon and I really want to continue doing the thing I love; which is teaching ESL. I recently graduated from Oakland University, where I majored in anthropology (or the study of culture). I also received my TESL certificate from Oakland University's excellent program. I've never tutored before but I have worked with or around kids for about 6 years now. I’ve even worked at a summer camp. When I teach, I think it's important to let everyone know that they are important. My classes are fun with lots or learning games and if we have to work on something 'not-so-fun' I promise that something fun will always follow.
