My career path encompassed positions of buyer, purchasing manager, director of purchasing, Vice President of Materials, Vice President of Operations and CEO. I've held full profit and loss responsibility and helped staff develop both short and long range strategic plans. During my tenure as CEO of a manufacturing firm, we doubled sales and earning over a three year period in a market sector where others were losing share and margin. My strength in the business arena rests with my ability to help build effective teams and enable them to achieve results they had not considered possible. study skills As a college student, I found it very necessary to develop and practice sound study habits. These included reserving specific time each day to study texts and notes from lectures, underlining key points, making summary notes, and reviewing all materials to ensure that I was capturing the most salient points from the available materials. Prior to exams, I reviewed all notes, underlined materials and practice questions to make myself comfortable with the material.
