About Shannon:

I have a Bachelor's degree in French from Western Michigan University, and will be graduating with my Master's degree in French from the University of Wisconsin in December of '08. (I have completed all coursework, as well as a professional internship abroad. I am currently finishing work on my thesis.) I am very friendly and sociable, so my teaching style tends toward the casual. As far as tutoring experience goes, I have been providing private French lessons for the past four months to the nine-year-old daughter of a friend. She has been making wonderful progress, and every day I learn new ways of explaining French grammar and pronunciation to her. My educational background provides me with the qualifications to tutor students in French, and my personality makes it fun and easy!
