About Donna:

I am an award-winning teacher for reaching beyond classroom walls to make science and math more understandable to youth. My 9 years in alternative settings makes me capable of working as part of a care team to scaffold and motivate individuals to learn science, math and writing. I was originally an Agriculture Science Teacher/Farm Mechanics/Jr. High Industrial Arts Teacher, then became science teacher. I have been teaching 27 years, but my approach is fresh and updated after spending the last two years in doctoral work in both Ag and Science Ed. TA for Educational Psychology. Because of the vocational training and working with learners of all styles and levels, I am able to make science and mathematics come alive with real world examples. I accept all learners and parents for who they are and work from a student's background and talents in the tutoring program. My Science program was recognized at State Level for Excellence. I am best with 7-12, and college students.
