My name is Sherrell, and I am a senior at St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, PA. I am a Political Science major and an English minor. I am an aspiring attorney and news broadcaster. However, my first love is, and has always been children. I enjoy spending time with children and helping them in any way that I can. I spend much of my free time taking care of children from ages one to twelve. I have been helping my younger brother with his homework for as long as I can remember. He is now in sixth grade and relies on me to proofread his papers and double check all of his assignments. I enjoy performing these tasks because I have a passion for the English language. That is the main reason why I chose to become an English minor at SJU. Whenever I take the time to work with any of the children I babysit, or my younger brother, I always maintain the same philosophy. My philosophy entails that I be patient, understanding, and as helpful as I can possibly be with the children/students. My goal is to make certain that the students have learned as much as possible in the most relaxing and fun environment that I can provide for them. With all of that being said, I know that I am more than qualified to be an excellent tutor.
