Education has always been my career choice and my greatest pride. I worked for 25 years as a full time university professor and researcher at the Engineering Faculty of the Universidad Central de Venezuela. I have the State of Florida Professional Educators's Certificate for Mathematics (grades 6 -12) and I'm currently working with high and middle school students as a math tutor helping them improve their grades in their regular courses and for the SAT/ ACT math tests. Being bilingual allows me the option to teach either in English or in Spanish.
I’m always committed to giving the best of me, especially with my students, but in return I ask for the best that they can give me as well.
Having taught for more than 25 years, I have always strived to get my students to ‘think outside the box.’ I believe that motivation, critical thinking and problem solving skills development foster the students’ abilities to adapt to constantly changing technologies.
