Hello, my name is Janikka. I love teaching and being around students. I have been working with children ages six months to 12 years since I was 10 years old. In fifth grade I became a cross-age tutor for kindergarten to third graders. In my senior year of high school, I became a tutor again at Sweetwater Springs Elementary School for the same age group and worked with kids with special needs. From there I worked for a year at a YMCA sponsored after school program with grades K-6. I began there as a inclusion aide for a child with Aspergers' Disorder and over time became a teachers' aide. I now work with children ages six months to 11 years at 24 Hour Fitness. My specialties are art and academics, specifically English.
