I'm an excellent tutor, and I take tutoring very seriously. In the past I've tutored mainly math and French, but I'm open to tutor other subjects. For potential students seeking tutoring in math, let me first say that math is a way of thinking which can be taught. I firmly believe that with the right teaching most students can achieve excellence in math. I know that everyone does not learn or think the same way, and an excellent tutor must be able to help his or her student develop the strategy best suited to them. I myself am a very visual learner and know how to use sketches to bring a point home. These skills have been tremendously useful to me and have helped me obtain a BA in mathematics, perfect scores on the math SAT, SATII and GRE, and to presently pursue PhD in a math-related discipline at the University of Chicago.
I also tutor French as I am a French (as well as American) citizen and native speaker. I can help students with French conversation, pronunciation, literature and culture.

  great tutor who was very helpful and patient

  I didnt know what to expect when i signed up for a tutoring lesson but was extremely happy the way it turned out. I translated some spanish into french and wanted a french speaking person to proofread my translation and tell me if i was on the right track. Because he is a native french speaker and a visual learner like myself, we were able to accomplish my project in the short time he spent with me. I am now on my way to somewhat self learning of french. I may need one more lesson at some time when i get more done and will contact wizeant for one more lesson.
