About

I have been tutoring for almost 4 years now. I have tutored different students from elementary school to college students. I am known to be patient with my students and non-judgmental (which seems to be an appealing trait for all of my students). While I am getting to know my student, I have one style of teaching, which is universal, just go in, and teach. However, once I know them, I create my tutoring lesson to their needs and help them learn easier. This process typically takes two tutoring session but I have been able to do so after one. I am passionate with my job and dedicated. I never give up on anyone.
As for me, I am a full-time college student currently attending Golden West College. I made the Honor's List during my first semester of college with a G.P.A. of 3.80. Currently I am part of the program called the Honor's Program and am an advocate for the English Honors class. I value my education and have my entire college career planned out. I wish to express my love for education for others who need it.

I first picked up my tennis racquet the summer before my first year of high school. I had joined the summer league but unfortunately did not compete in any formal game. However, I did have the opportunity to learn how to play the game. After a month, I helped my coach teach other students who fell behind. During the summer, I had shaped up and quickly moved up in ranks. Due to my desire, I played as a single player and when the school year began, I was a starter for the Junior Varsity tennis team. I had earned such honor by being the fastest girl on the team, learning the game quickly, and being a mentor to the other students. Throughout the season, I had played many games and won 90% of the games. I do not remember exactly the games won and lost, but it was enough to be the only junior varsity single player of my school to go to the CIF semi-finals. Although I played my best, I did not make it to the finals but enjoyed watching the other players play. I learned so much by watching that I was eager to play again. However, due to injuries and difficulties with the team, I did not play for the rest of my high school career. Although I was not officially on the team did not mean that I stopped playing. I played during my free time, which lead to me playing at least four times a week. I also coached my former players whenever they were in need.
If it wasn’t for my health, injuries, and work, I would be on the tennis team for college. Because I cannot play, doesn’t mean that I do not have the passion for it. I would love to teach other students what I have learned and show them how much it would be. I am very strict with my teaching because tennis is not an easy sport. Tennis is very physical and demands a large sense of mentality dedication. I know that there is more to playing tennis than the actual game. There is training, diet, and proper gear. I am aware that there is a large sum of time required to coach but my desire to spread my love for tennis is too strong. I am physically fit and know how to stay in shape. I contain every knowledge known for tennis and the steps before.
