About Jillian:

I was blessed to go to a very small highschool that enabled one on one learning/teaching. It taught me the value of having a teacher there who wanted nothing more then to have me fully understand what they were teaching. From that after graduation and before college, I stayed on as a teachers assistant for 6 months to share that with the kids who were entering the school. I have continued to tutor privately for 10 years. English,writing,essays and SAT prep are what I specialize in. Teaching is based on two things. Patience and promise. The patience not to want to move your student along before they are ready, and the promise that they have someone who will help them over the hurdles they are facing academically.
