As an English major at Harding University, I have worked extensively in advanced poetry and creative non-fiction workshops. I am very experienced in constructive criticism and promoting individual style. Having taken many literature classes, I am also experienced in formal critical writing as well as creative writing. And as a journalism minor, I have had experience with news-writing.
Musically, I am a professional drummer and guitarist. I have played both for 12+ years. I have been recording in Nashville music studios since I was 15 years old. Professional studios I've worked in include Alex the Great, Club Roar, the Court, Moosecall, Gene Breeden's at the United Artist Tower, and the Toybox. For drums, I am trained in rock drumset styles as well as marching and concert snaredrum. Also, I am on scholarship as the lead electric guitarist for the Harding University touring band, Belles and Beaux. I work with sheet music for drums and the Nashville charting system for guitar. |
