Hello, I am a PhD Candidate in English Literature. I have successfully taught at the University level for 4 years, and before that, I taught at the High School Level. I have worked with accelerated students, and I have also thoroughly enjoyed working with students with learning disabilities, or even students who might need some motivation. Because of my in class teaching experience, and specialized interest in English Literature, I know how to approach the intellectual and academic demands that students face (at all levels).
I am an expert on College Entrance Essays, Scholarships, and SAT & GRE essay exams. I also taught the GED for a number of years and will teach all aspects of the exam (and give you insider tips!) I have tutored many people and have proven, positive results. I recently worked at the University writing center and received excellent recommendations from my clients.
I believe in teaching by concepts, in other words, I give you advice and strategies that you can take away from each lesson. I will also recommend websites, give you practice exams, practice essays, etc. I simply love teaching and love learning and would like to pass my strategies onto you.
