Hi,
My name is Nick and I am a graduate from Tennessee Technological University. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Courses I took in college include Calculus I, II, III, Differentiable Equations I and II. Chemistry I, II, Physics I, II, and Advanced Math for Engineers. These are all related to the courses I am able to tutor in. Other courses I completed include; Thermodynamics I, II, Turbomachinery, Heat Transfer, Robotics, Fluid Dynamics, Dynamics, Modeling and Controls, Applied Machine Design, C programming, and many others. I start my teaching style to first evaluate the students understanding of the subject they are having trouble in. Then I modify my teaching style to each individual student. For example if the student is having trouble due to a class taken in the past, I will spend more time reinforcing that course to help them understand the current course work. This is especially so in Mathematics where each class is part of a foundation for the next class.
