About Kara:

I hold a B.A. in Sociology from UC Santa Cruz. I also have a M.Ed from Lesely University in Cambridge, MA. I have four years of classroom teaching experience. I have taught 7th-10th grades in California and in New Mexico. I have taught U.S. History as well as World History. I am a very patient tutor who works with students to not only help them build their knowledge base, but also to improve their study skills and self-confidence. I think learning should be fun and I work very hard to structure the tutoring sessions to make this happen.
