About Kimberly:

I am a research scientist at CU-Boulder who enjoys working with motivated students. I have a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Molecular Virology. While I spend most of my day in the laboratory doing experiments, teaching is something that I have always enjoyed. I tutored chemistry and biology when I was in grad school and taught an upper college, critical thinking course at CU last year. As a mother, I enjoy working with young children to help them explore their interests so they will grow into inquisitive young adults. I like to teach using the Socratic method, where the student discovers the answer through recipricating questions.
