Learn More About Amanda's Experience:

drawing I have received my BFA from Albion College and an MA in fine art from Eastern Michigan University. I have received much formal training in the formal aspects of drawing objects, figures, portraits, landscapes, etc. I am also well-versed in a more creative or abstract approach and would encourage a student interested in art to explore both of these avenues. I have also taught community classes in art from ages pre-school to adult in subjects such as Drawing, Painting, and Ceramics. I really enjoy helping students to achieve the skills and building blocks that they need for a more complete expression of their creative vision. grammar I received my undergraduate degree from Albion College, which is a private liberal arts institution, with a double major in English and Visual Arts. As someone who has always loved to read, grammar, spelling and vocabulary have always been stong areas for me and I love to help students with these areas and with their reading and writing. I have also been working as a substitute teacher and am working towards my certification, so I am familiar with working with students of many different age levels and abilities and realy enjoy working with children. I am also very patient, soft-spoken and nurturing and am a mother of two.
