TOEFL I am certified to teach English as a second language and I feel confident that I will be an effective tutor. I am comfortable teaching any level or age. I obtained the certification from Ohio University in 2001. I taught an advanced level English course to approximately 10 to 15 college students for two quarters at Ohio University. I also taught English at the La Escuela de Los Idiomas in Pamplona, Spain for a period of 5 months in 2002. Generally, the students were adults, but I did have several teenagers in my groups. These classes were intermediate level and focused only on conversation. I have not formally taught English for some time although I enjoyed my past experiences. I have all of my theory textbooks and would have no problem refreshing my memory.
