Hello! I am a current graduate student at Simmons College pursuing my Masters of Arts in Teaching in Elementary Education. During my undergraduate studies I majored in Humanities and Elementary Education. I was a student teacher in three different classrooms, which exposed me to varied teaching styles. During these practicums I worked with students one-on-one in the areas of Math and Reading. I am an enthusiastic and devoted teacher who prides myself on finding unique and exciting ways to relay the course work to the students allowing for a deepened understanding of the material. Additionally, I have college level tutoring experience in Algebra.

  I have passed the Massachusetts requirements for initial licensure in Elementary Education including achieving required sign-off/approval on my practicum experience, completion of academic course requirements, and passing scores on the required sections of the MTEL. I successfully completed a semester long internship in a third grade classroom teaching all areas of the curriculum including math, reading, science and social studies. I have additional classroom experience in 2nd and 4th grade. I am currently enrolled in Simmon's College pursuing my Master's of Arts in Teaching in Elementary Education.

  Great tutor
