ESL/ESOL I am writing in hopes to be certified in the subject of ESL. I have been tutoring Korean kids in ESL for a little over 10 years now. My passion is to teach those who can better their language skills. I am able to creatively and effectively teach English to those whose first language is not English. Please certify me in this subject. general computer I am writing in hopes to be certifed in the subject of general computer. All throughout my schooling I have had a love for computers. I am able to fully use a Mac as well as a PC. I am fluent in various different programs and shortcuts. In college my minor was Computer Science. I know a bit about C++ and how to take apart a computer and put it back together. I type 75 words per minute and love to teach people new things about their computers. Please certify me in this subject. general music I am writing in hopes to be certified in the subject of General Music. I grew up playing violin and piano. I am able to read music as well as play from just hearing the notes. To this day I am still able to sit at a piano or pick up a violin and play anything that is put in front of me. In college I took Musicianship classes as well as voice classes. Please certifiy me in this subject. Thanks! Korean I am writing to request that I be certified to tutor Korean as I am of Korean descent. I grew up learning both English and Korean at the same time. I am able to read, write, speak and cook Korean food! My parents predominantly speak Korean as their first language so I interact with them by speaking in Korean as well. I worked for the Eugene School District for 4 years as their Korean translator. I translated written English documents into Korean for parents as well as Korean documents into English for the schools in Eugene. I tutored Korean children in English for 8 years as well. Teaching them grammar, working with them on story problems for math along with conversational English. I taught classes for the afterschool program at the Korean school in Eugene as well. This program was for Korean children who wanted to better their Korean fluency as well as for non-Koreans who wanted to learn the language. Speaking in Korean is as second nature to me as speaking in English. Please certify me in this subject. study skills I am writing in hopes to be certified in the subject of Study Skills. In college while I took my full term of courses, I also worked for the Office of Disabilities Services where I worked as a Notetaker, Reader and Proctor. In applying to work these positions, it was required that I be trained in various different study skills. So that when I worked with the students, I would be able to identify the type of studier they were and to accomodate their needs. In working in each of this positions, I was able to work one on one with the student and offer any study skills they were experiencing challenges with. Please certify me in this subject. Thanks!
