I am a recent college graduate and have been working with kids for over 6 years, either as a nanny or a tutor. It really is something I am passionate about. I currently work as a Lead Academic Instructor for an accredited East Bay after-school tutoring program. I love learning and love bringing my passion for it to the kids. In preparation for the credential program, I have also passed all three sections of the CSET, so I have a fairly wide scope of knowledge from a variety of subjects. I have been working with kids for over 6 years. I was a nanny for 4 years and was responsible for helping the kids complete their nightly homework. I worked with kids from grades K though 6. Currently I work as a Lead Academic Instructor for an accredited Bay Area after-school program called Extreme Learning, Inc. While there I work with kids from grades K-8 in helping them with their homework and understanding their classroom teachers lessons. I also recently passed all three sections of the multiple subjects CSET.

I recently graduated with a BA in English from CSU Stanislaus. I took several grammar courses while I was there and also wrote/edited for the school publication Penumbra.
