I have had significant teaching experience in the past, specifically in ESL through the International Teaching Assistant Program at the University of Connecticut, where I worked for two years as an undergraduate assistant. I have also had the opportunity to substitute for the Hebrew instructor at the university on several occasions. It was these two experiences in combination with a great deal of private tutoring over the years, that has kept my passion for teaching going strong. My passion for teaching and making a difference in the lives of others is not showing any signs of extinguishing itself any time soon.
Passion alone however is not enough. One must be able to demonstrate the appropriate qualifications - put one’s money where one’s mouth is - as well. Having realized that rather early in life, I did everything I could academically to best prepare myself to pursue my life’s passion. That said, my degrees include a Master of Arts. in Comparative Literary and Cultural Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in German-Jewish History, both from the University of Connecticut Storrs campus. Combine my academic background with my work experience and my unquenchable thirst to make a difference in the world and I believe I am the perfect tutor for you.
