I am an experienced and patient tutor. I am strong in written and spoken english as well as math(algebra, geometry, trig).
During school I always took advanced and honors courses and received numerous awards throughout school including Walt Disney's Dreamer and Doer Award. I graduated from Rollins College with a B.A. In Organizational Communication, which is a blend of psychology, sociology, and management. During College I tutored writing to college level students- many ESOL students, I created and implemented a training program for DJ personnel of WPRK 91.5 FM. In addition I was dually enrolled with Valencia Community College where I had an Fine Arts Scholarship.
In my last semester of college i started, built, operated for two years and sold a successful retail flooring business. I am currently the youngest Business Broker in my firm, where I consistently recieve awards for listing agent of the month.
I currently tutor students in math and english from elementary school to highschool.
There is no cookie cutter approach to teaching. So, I like to get a sense of what the client needs to accomplish. I encourage them and help them to develop the skills they need to get to where they want to go. I try to make it as fun and productive as possible.
