I am a certified elementary teacher with a Masters degree as a Reading and Writing Specialist. I have taught grades K-5, all subject areas, 6th and 8th grade language arts, and 8th grade science. I have experience with tutoring students below, on, and above grade level. I am currently waiting for the results of my National Board Certification Assessment. |

I have six years experience teaching elementary grades K-5 and one year with middle grades 6-8. I am certified by the state of Kentucky to teach elementary grades K-5 in all subject areas and K-12 in reading and writing.

As an elementary teacher I have experience working with students at all reading levels to develop skills including phonics. In the past seven years I have worked with a variety of phonics and reading programs that have given me a wide variety of activities to improve phonics and reading skills.
