About Claire:

I have a Master's degree in English/TESOL and have taught at the college and adult level for 15 years. I have taught English, writing, study skills, vocabulary, reading, traffic school and drug rehabilitation all to folks with specials needs. My BA is from San Francisco State University and my MA is from California State University, Hayward. I tutored many students during my education at Cal State Hayward and also after school at a private school. I use the Socratic method and natural method when teaching. I know about learning styles and have helped students discover how they learn best. Education is very important and students must sharpen study skills, time management and reading techniques to successfully complete college.
